Fishing Packages

NORTHERN PIKE

One of the most thrilling aspects of our fishing expeditions is the method we employ - sight fishing in very shallow waters, typically ranging from 1 to 5 feet deep. This gives you the incredible opportunity to observe the fish up close before making your cast, almost like handpicking the biggest catch. While some may be used to blind casting and hoping for the best, our approach demands a keen eye and strategic decision-making as you identify the largest and most impressive specimens.

Exploring the region, you'll be surrounded by thousands of uncharted bays, channels, and sandy coves, creating an unparalleled sense of isolation and adventure. The untouched wilderness and breathtaking landscapes will leave you in awe and ensure an experience that's far from the ordinary. During the first month of the season, you can experience our extended and magnificent midnight sun and the option of late or night fishing for extra fees.

INCONNU

sheefish, or localy called ‘‘Inconnu’’ can be an exhilarating experience! These fish, known for their impressive size and unique fighting spirit, are often found in remote rivers and lakes in the Arctic regions.

The thrill starts with the anticipation of the catch—casting your line in the pristine waters surrounded by stunning landscapes. Once you feel that first tug, the adrenaline kicks in! Sheefish can put up a strong fight, darting and splashing, making each moment a test of skill and patience. Being the only fishing charter on Great Slave Lake that can guarantee open water sheefish is a fantastic option for anglers looking to wrap land a once in a lifetime species.

LAKE TROUT

While these magnificent fish can be found in various locations across North America, it's the deep, cold waters of Great Slave Lake that set the stage for an extraordinary fishing experience. Here, the Lake Trout venture into more shallow parts of the water, making it possible to catch them even on a fly rod, which adds an exciting twist to your fishing adventure.

Black Jack Fishing stands apart as a dedicated team of guides who have honed their expertise in exploring the best fishing locations in the East Arm of Great Slave Lake. Our commitment to keeping these prime spots undisclosed ensures that you'll feel completely immersed in the tranquil and untouched wilderness, and that your fishing experience remains uncompromised. For trips booked starting in late August until our closure date, you will have the unique opportunity and experience of a lifetime to observe our Northern lights.
